ZCME Board Member Vikki Yu's Prayer and Perseverance Lead to Life-Saving Surgery for Pila, Laguna Resident
On October 5, 2024, the Zonta Club of Makati and Environs (ZCME), in collaboration with Victory Church and Centre Medicale Internationale, organized a successful medical mission that served over 200 underprivileged residents of Taguig City. The event, hosted at ZCME’s facility, featured 14 doctors, including specialists in pediatrics, internal medicine, ophthalmology, gynecology, and dentistry, ensuring comprehensive healthcare support for the community.
Both Victory Church and Centre Medicale Internationale generously provided free medicines for the patients. Several Zontians were actively involved, offering assistance to patients, doctors, and volunteers, contributing to the smooth execution of the mission. The event was a rewarding experience for all involved, and there are plans to hold similar projects regularly, aiming to further extend healthcare access to those in need.
