St. Scholastica’s College, known for its strong political and social advocacies, commitment to women’s empowerment, and service to marginalized communities, aligns closely with Zonta’s mission of advancing gender equality. ZCM&E sees the partnership as a promising opportunity to nurture a new generation of socially engaged young women leaders.
The meeting was attended by Z and Golden Z Chairperson Maritoni Tordesillas, ZCM&E President-Elect Marcy Kochet-Chua, and Co-Chairperson Jocel Labrador. They met with Ms. Sharon Joy Catronero, Director of SSC’s Advocacy and Outreach Center, representing Sister Rosario Obiniana, SSC President.m and Prof Victor Vigo , SSC Head of Student Affairs.
This hopes to be the second Golden Z Club established by ZCM&E for the biennium.
The discussion marks a significant step toward forming a Golden Z Club that will empower students to champion Zonta’s advocacy for women’s rights and community service.
