Zumba by Zonta at Marillac Hills Psychological Center for Abused Girls and Children!
On August 23, members of ZCME organized a Zumba class for 140 girls residing at Marillac Hills, a shelter for children who are wards of the state. These young girls are dealing with the aftermath of severe challenges, including sexual abuse, exploitation, rape, and involvement in legal cases as children in conflict with the law. The Zumba session was led by ZCME member Mildred Uy, who was accompanied by new member Lani Ligon Robles, Board member Marion Salonga, and CP Joanne Zapanta Andrada.
