Club Officers Orientation: Leadership Enhancement in Action and Development (LEAD)
On August 21, 2024, the leaders of Zonta International District 17 from Areas 1 and 5 conducted a Club Officers Orientation at Club Filipino, San Juan City.
Pres. Joanne Zapanta Andrada and President-Elect Marcy Kohchet-Chua were instrumental in leading the session, focusing on the theme "The Zonta Officer: A Leader-Manager." They provided insights and strategies on effective leadership, emphasizing the dual role of Zonta officers as both leaders and managers.
Past International President (PIP) Olivia Ferry, who also serves as the ZCME Parliamentarian, delivered an inspiring message to the attendees. PA5D Adviser Armita Rufino and ZCME Executive Director Jay Joaquino were also present, adding to the significance of the event.
The orientation was successfully organized by District 17 Leaders Institute Chairs Carolina Balotro and Sonia Aquino, in collaboration with Area 1 Director Rowena Cruz-Plan, Area 5 Director Susan Lim, and other District 17 officers.
