Fora Showcase Of Future Fashion Talent

Fashion Institute of the Philippines

FORA has partnered with three distinguished fashion schools: School of Fashion and the Arts Design Institute (SoFA), Fashion Institute of the Philippines (FIP) and Institute of Creative Entrepreneurship-Fashion Arts and Desgin (ICE-FAD) in order to showcase the talents of their students and faculty.

Fashion Institute Of The Philippines

Since its opening in 2003, Fashion Institute of the Philippines has shared its easy-to-learn methods and techniques to thousands of national and international students, professional designers, business entrepreneurs, housewives and hobbyists, second coursers, and other professionals (lawyers, architects, engineers, nuns, accountants, movie and TV personalities, socialites and diplomats’ wives).

Established by then Canada/Paris-based designer Shanon Pamaong (Canadian Faces of Fashion Awardee and Fashion Week 2007 Hewlett-Packard Awardee, pioneer faculty of La Salle College International), FIP have produced grand winners and champions in design competitions: Aries Lagat (Mega Young Designer Grand Champion 2006, Project Runway 1st Season Grand Champion), John Herrera ( Mega Magazine Most Promising Designer, Represented the Philippines in the Japan design Competition), Jerome Ang (Represented the Philippines in the Singapore Design Competition), Regine Dulay (Represented the Philippines in the Arts of Fashion in Miami, Florida), Paul Herrera (Young Designer Competition for Paris Grand Winner – Accessories Division), Vanessa Ang (Mega Young Designer Grand Champion 2008), Cherry Veric (Project Runway 2nd Season Finalist), Aram Loe and Jearson Demavivas
(Mega Young Designer Competiton 2010 Finalists), Seph Bagasao and Renz Reyes (Preview Magazine Emerging Talents Awardees 2011), and Oz Go (Philippine Representative to the
Arts of Fashion 2011, San Francisco, California).

CHED Studio

Ched Studio is defined by artisanal approach to creating fashion, under the design direction of Christian Edward Dalogaog. Inspirations drawn from the arts, history and pop culture are fused with distinct Filipino craftsmanship. The house preserves and celebrates traditional details and standards, combining exquisite textiles and contemporary shapes. Playing with the tension between draped silhouettes and precised tailoring, the brand exudes attitudes towards subtlety and refinement.

In January 2017, VOGUE Italia’s VOGUE.it profiled Ched Studio as part of their initiative in discovering NEW TALENTS that represents contemporary fashion. Part of the Spring/Summer 2018 presentations, Ched Studio represented the Philippines in Lao Fashion Week and Pitti Immagine SUPER Trade Show during Milan Fashion Week, chosen in collaboration with VOGUE Italia’s Vogue Talents under Sara Maino, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Italia. Spring Summer 2018, Ched Studio presented their collection at Amazon Fashion Week Tokyo for Asian Fashion Meets Tokyo. Ched Studio have been featured and profiled in local and international publications, including L’Officiel Manila, i-D Magazine, WWD Japan, Voguerunway.com and VOGUE Italia

Mario Cross and Inoss Cramer

CRAMER is a modern clothing brand that caters to women and children founded in Manila, Philippines. The design team of Iross and Marjo believe in the power of creativity, personality and quality of products.

The women’s wear line (Amansinaya) is focused on lifestyle and resort wear. The children’s wear (HIJ) is focused on clothes that combine coolness with stylish and comfortable silhouettes. It provides a selection for girls and boys ages 4 to 9 years old. We aim to become sustainable and ethically responsible in creating our clothes making sure we do things right. Marjo Cruz is a graduate of and currently an instructor of Fashion Institute of the Philippines. He teaches patternmaking for women and head of menswear department in Makati. He is also part of Ched Studio – one of Vogue Italia’s choice for New Talents for 2017.

Iross Cramer is co-owner and director of Fashion Institute of the Philippines- Makati. She took Fashion Business in London College of Fashion. She is also the Marketing Director for Ched Studio.
