COLLABORATION
ONE HUNDRED Women,
ONE HUNDRED Ways of Life
May 14, 2019
In celebration of our centennial year, Zonta International District 17 Area 5 in collaboration with Filipino Heritage Festival, Inc. (FHFI), official partner and implementing arm of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), has conceptualized and launched the photo exhibit of “ONE HUNDRED WOMEN, ONE HUNDRED WAYS OF LIFE: HERITAGEKEEPERS” last May, 2019. The importance of showcasing women through a photo exhibition came about. We have also included this in our Area 5 magazine.
We highlights and inspiring an all-women photo exhibition entitled, “100 Women, 100 Ways of Life: The Heritage Keepers”. This embodies the women from all walks of life… women, who have greatly contributed to the community, to the society and to the world. These are women who have simply lived a prudent life and not mindful of their day-to-day work that have greatly influenced through their career, profession and interests to a greater number of the society.
(FROM L TO R), CONSUL ANTONIO RUFINO, ATTY. ANCHETTA TAN AND CHAIRMAN ERNESTO MOYA
(FROM L TO R), MARITESS PINEDA, MAYOR ABIGAIL BINAY, ROSALINDA CERVANTES, AND ARMITA RUFINO
These are the women… simple, quiet, low- key who deserve due recognition and these hundred women, a representation of many others considered to be the unsung heroines of the society.
